The Atlanta Hawks have been in each of their last three ball games, they just haven’t been able to close out games late.

Last night, the Atlanta Hawks moved on to a record of (2-12) after losing a nail biter in New Orleans (106-105). The Hawks were up by 14 points at one point during this game and it looked as if the Hawks would pick up a victory. Kent Bazemore was the leading scorer for the Hawks on the night finishing with 22 points. Marco Bellinelli followed that up with 14 points off the bench on (5-10) shooting. Luke Babbitt and John Collins added 12 points each while Dennis Schroder and DeWayne Dedmon both scored 11 points on the night.

For the New Orleans Pelicans, DeMarcus Cousins took home the game ball. Cousins finished the night with 22 points, 16 rebounds and 7 assist. E’Twaun Moore shot well scoring 24 points. Rajon Rondo made his debut with the Pelicans but his play didn’t really impact the game. Rondo finished with 2 points and 2 assist.

The Atlanta Hawks will be back in action at home on Wednesday November 15th as they welcome the Sacramento Kings to town. There will also be a special halftime and post game performance from rapper 21 Savage. Stay tuned to HHS1987 for more NBA news.
