Andre Drummond and the Detroit Pistons were too much for the Atlanta Hawks on Thursday night. Despite the night being capped by Atlanta rap artist Jeezy debuting a new Hawks jersey and performing a halftime, Hawks fans left Philips Arena with their team having the worst record in the NBA.

For the Atlanta Hawks, after missing a few games with a shoulder injury, highflying rookie John Collins was back in action for the Hawks. Collins was effective and after the game he spoke on being young and feeling good. Collins finished the night with 15 points on (7-10) shooting from the field with 7 rebounds. Ersan Ilyasova has been playing the best basketball of his career if you ask Me. Ersan shooting (10-14) shooting scoring 23 points. Tyler Cavanaugh was also effective scoring 9 points on (3-3) shooting.

The Pistons needed this win to get back on track. Detroit’s victory ended their 7 games losing streak. Pistons big man Andre Drummond may be playing the best basketball of his career and it showed on Thursday night. Drummond flirted with his first career triple double. Drummond finished the night with 12 points, 19 rebounds and 8 assist. Tobias Harris lead the way scoring. Harris finished the night with 19 points on (8-11) shooting.

Harris wasn’t alone. Pistons guard Avery Bradley finished with 18 points and 3 assist. Off the bench for Detroit, Langston Galloway scored 17 points going (5-9) from beyond the three point line.
