True To Atlanta: Atlanta Hawks vs. San Antonio Spurs (11-20-17) (Recap)

The Atlanta Hawks quick road trip to Texas didn’t turn out the way many Hawks fans would have liked. On Monday November 20th, the Atlanta Hawks moved on to a record of (3-14) after a tough (96-85) to the San Antonio Spurs.

 

Atlanta Hawks rookie John Collins led the way for the Hawks in San Antonio scoring. Collins finished with 21 points on (10-12) shooting with 9 rebounds. Taurean Prince spoke on the disappointment he felt losing to the Spurs post game and how he is ready to get back to work and get back on the winning side of things. Prince finished the night with 18 points and 8 rebounds. DeWayne Dedmon and Marco Bellenelli both finished with 11 points.

 

For the San Antonio Spurs, big man LaMarcus Aldridge was the leading scorer scoring 22 points and grabbing 11 rebounds. Manu Ginoboli toward the end of his career is still effective on the court. Manu finished with 16 points on (7-11) shooting. Spurs swingman Danny Green finished with 13 points.

 

The Hawks are back in action on Wednesday night as they get set for 3 games in 4 nights.
