Born and raised in Topanga, CA, District 21 often draws inspiration from his old fashioned environment. His music paints pictures of beauty, romance, self awareness and darkness. His debut Lifeguard LP is perfect for a California ride by the beach and a date for the sunset. He often credits the likes of Pink Floyd, Frank Ocean, Lorde, Janis Joplin and Nirvana as key influences.
