Sage One The Wise has has been grinding in the SoCal hip hop scene for years and has proven himself on the ground time and time again. Now he’s ready for the world. He’s spent the past year in the studio with California Hip-Hop veteran, Ariano, working on his debut studio album, The Sage Project, and now he drops his first official single, “Astronaut.”
With an intricate flow, Sage One weaves the tale of a young dreamer chasing the stars, ready to blast off over the Ariano-produced beat. The video, directed by Left-Right, captures a weekend in Las Vegas where Sage One performed and wilds out, reveling in the realization that his dreams are within his grasp.
Recorded in Hollywood, California at Fresh Goods Music studio, laying down “Astronaut” created an environment for Sage One The Wise to develop as an artist and truly find himself over Ariano’s production. The track was mixed and mastered by LDontheCut (producer and Dj for Sublime with Rome). “Astronaut” is a declaration of what is yet to come on The Sage Project.
