On Skooly’s latest EP, Don’t You Ever Forget Me, the ATL rapper gets real about his rise in rap, detailing his trials and tribulations and finding real ones to ride along the way. Skooly switches up the mood in “Habit,” which has the rapper proudly listing his vices. Featuring an appearance from T.R.U. label boss 2 Chainz, who loudly proclaims “Free Meek” and “Rest In Peace Bankrool,” “Habit” has Skooly and 2 Chainz invading an addiction support group meeting, turning the situation into a raucous party–bad for the characters’ health, but good for our amusement.
Now 23 years-old and signed to 2 Chainz’ T.R.U. (The Real University), Skooly has been around the scene since he was 14, working with/putting on new artists like YFN Lucci and Young Thug, while creating original tags for Metro Boomin and London On The Track.
