Kiara Simone – I Got N*ggas (Video)

Kiara Simone drops her latest single “I Got Niggas” just in time for the summer. The VA raised MC got her start interning at a recording studio where she was able to make some connections within the industry. Kiara has worked with some of today’s hottest producers, which include 1500 or Nothin’, Cassius Jay, Bobby Kritical, 808 Mafia, ‪Dem Jointz‬, and Zaytoven, who produced her smash single “Mo Money”. The female lyricist describes her music style as an old school, east coast vibe with her musical influences being Biggie and Drake. Her new hit single “I Got Niggas” is now available on all streaming platforms and recently topped Spotify’s playlist for #DXHitList.

 

Kiara first tapped into her musical talents at age 14 when she used her phone voice recordings to spit a verse by Lil Mama from her song “Shawty Get Loose”. After listening her older sister Shawnta believed her delivery was dope and encouraged her to try out her own original music. From that point on, Kiara started writing her own rhymes and practicing her craft. In a tragic turn of events, her beloved sister was shot and killed in PG County, leaving Kiara heartbroken. Her life changed forever and two years later, she reached a breaking point where she wanted to completely give up on everything.

 

Using her pain and struggle to fuel her music allowed Kiara to catch the attention of Hip-Hop superstar The Game, who eventually had her in the studio recording material with him. The Game invited her out to perform on stage during his sold-out nationwide “1992 Block Wars Tour.” The VA native boldly took advantage of the priceless opportunity and gained thousands of new fans along the way. While on tour Kiara was able to introduced her new music at tour stops in New York, Baltimore, Atlanta, Maryland, and Santa Ana. Fresh off the TDE Tour, Kiara Simone made noise with her single, “Shimmey”.The popular song morphed into its own viral sensation and was featured on Rap Re-Up, BET Jamz and more. With appearances at the 2019 BET Hip Hop Awards and Super Bowl Weekend 51, Kiara continues developing her craft and plans on making big moves in Spring/Summer 2019.
