It’s apparent that Cassidy has a lot of true grit battle rap fans. Too bad these fans are so delusional and it showed in the poor record sales for the Hustla when he had the backing of the industry machine. Still you all are still rearing your faces but won’t purchase another album from Cassidy. This attempt is too long and not as effective in it’s attempt. I think you all are caught up in wanting to hear Cassidy’s voice more than anything. Some of you still own those battle rap DVDs from years ago. I understand it’s hard for you all to let it go. The tides have shifted and Meek was able to use the machine effectively and use opportunities to build a brand. He’s employed his people along the way. He’s contributed back to his community. Something that Cassidy never did. Meek has more strong points to stand-on in this series of battles. What can Cassidy say to legitimize his purpose? If bars and punchlines were Cass’ strengths, it shouldn’t have taken 10 minutes to prove his point. The kid is doesn’t have a leg to stand-on after his own co-de exposed him. It’s a rap. Literally.
