Miami, Florida rapper Trina will head to the city of brotherly love this weekend, in an attempt to curtail outbreak of violence.
Trina is heading to Philadelphia this weekend to take part in the 4th annual “Unity in the Community” block party, which will take place in South Philadelphia on Saturday (July 30th).
Trina is slated to headline the block party, which will also feature guest appearances from Power 99FM’s Uncle O, DJ Diamond Kuts, State Rep. Kenyatta Johnson, and Jordan Harris, who is executive director of the Philadelphia Youth Commission.
The weekend events are being produced by Unity in the Community, which is a local organization headed up by Anton Moore.
Moore an other volunteers will serve up a day of free food, celebrity appearances, a fashion show and other activities during the day.

Trina’s headlining performance during will take place during the Unity in the Community block party, which takes place on Saturday at 20th and Snyder Avenue.
