The Philadelphia 76ers may be smacking themselves in the forehead right now after receiving news that former Los Angeles Lakers center Andrew Bynum who was traded to Philly in a four team trade last season will have season ending knee surgery.

Bynum who will be a unrestricted free agent this summer could end up never playing a game in a 76ers uniform and may end up being the reason Philadelphia 76ers coach Doug Collins loses his job next year. Bynum had been telling media and teammates all season that he would make a debut as a 76er but now we know that won’t happen.

Bynum had his career season last year with the Los Angeles Lakers averaging career highs with 18.7 points and 11.8 rebounds.
