Eric Bellinger – Sometimes (Video)

January 13, 2017 0

Compton-born Eric Bellinger earns his living as an ace songwriter, creating compositions that stand on their own. Released in September 2016, Eric B For President: Term 1 was a potent fusion of Hip-Hop and R&B, packed with sensual bedroom jams and trap bangers. Today he’s announcing EBFP: An Acoustic Experience, a project that strips down those songs to their bare essence, with only voice and acoustic guitar, to reveal the well-crafted melodies and clever lyrics beneath the production bells and whistles of Term 1.
Eric’s thoughts on the presidential election and inauguration: “I know our country is in a crazy place right now with the recent election of Donald Trump. I’m doing my best to give an an alternative outlook on things through my music. Trying to stay as positive as possible, distracting the culture from the mockery of events that have been taking place… no different than what our government does when they draw attention to things in the media to distract us.”
Along with the EBFP: An Acoustic Experience announcement, Eric Bellinger is dropping his visual for “Sometimes,” directed by Cam Fairfax. Pulling up to his L.A. mansion in his beamer with suicide doors, “Sometimes” explores the more sensitive side of Eric Bellinger’s personality. “Trap n*ggas fall in love sometimes,” Eric croons. EBFP: An Acoustic Experience hits the internet on Inauguration Day, January 20th. Eric B For President: Term 1‘s follow-up project, Eric B For President: Term 2, is due this Spring.
