HELLBOUNDJAY (formally known as Denai Tenkara) is a recording artist and songwriter from Atlanta, Georgia. He is known for his unique flow, advanced wordplay, & dark/gritty sound which sets him apart from other artists in his city. He began taking music seriously around summer 2016 when he dropped out of college to pursue rap. The pain he has endured has helped him push boundaries & grow as an individual/rapper.
Through his music, he connects w/ his audience in an authentic way by expressing raw emotion & being a standup individual. His dark, mysterious demeanor & rockstar attitude are influenced by artists/bands such as Robb Bank$, Playboi Carti, System Of A Down, Slipknot, Toro Y Moi, Hoodrich Pablo Juan & many more. Being influenced by these other musicians has helped him develop his own sound & solidifies his versatility as a rapper.
