Poni is an International rising star who’s emerged coming for the crown to be the UK Queen of Hip-Hop. She started her career as the only female in a 7-man Rap group called “Dark Foundation” where she got her name Poni. ‘The lyrical Ryder’ and Hip-Hop Connection Magazine stated that she ‘rips up syllables like tearing up a dictionary’.
Poni later went on to be a solo artist & over the years has worked with music teams around the world including Grammy award-winning Producers, Mr. Porter, Eminem & 50 Cents producer from Shady Records. She’s also worked with Darius ‘Deezle’ Harrison, Lil Wayne’s producer.
Poni has appeared on the BBC, BET, The Source Magazine, & even has placement on one of DJ Drama and Lil Wayne’s mixtape collabs, Public Enemy with their track Easy Money.
