Capture3-2 From humble beginnings to the pinnacle of success: a candid conversation with George Dickinson

Many rappers voice their life struggles, current successes, and upbringing through their lyrics. Especially those who have risen from humble beginnings. Yet, we speak to George Dickinson in person, lyrics aside, in a candid conversation about his successes.

George Dickinson, better known as G Money, has stopped his silence and spoken up since the death of his friend and close colleague, Juice WRLD.

The Dickinson brothers, George and Brandon (better known as G Money and Lil Bibby) signed Juice WRLD to their label after hearing his song “Lucid Dreams” on SoundCloud in 2017. After signing Juice WRLD, their label Grade A Productions skyrocketed. The brothers have seen nothing but success since, which is what they always dreamed of.

From a young age, George has always been a humble man. The brothers grew up in Chicago during the late 90s and noughties. Their community and family were extremely notorious due to the presence of some social vices. Hence, the brothers were keen to get into the music world and make a successful life for themselves. This is exactly what they did as they now work with some of the industry’s biggest names.

Chicago was a place that was full of hidden talent and dreams. Thus, the pair took it upon themselves to reach their dreams and intertwine themselves with celebrities that they had looked up to throughout their childhood.

Through hard work and like-minds, George and his label have seen great success. Not only did they sign Juice WRLD, but many other big artists. Juice spoke up about the Dickinson brothers and how they helped the rapper achieve his dreams. Together, they all saw success and all were from humble beginnings.

George, his brother, and their label are great examples that you can come from anywhere and achieve anything you set out to.
