Artists come and go. Music trends change every year. It’s challenging for artists to keep skin in the game with the rapid fluctuation of an unpredictable industry––when it comes to staying persistent and gaining notoriety for uplifting anthems, one DJ and artist has continued to ring our radar this past year. His goal is to collaborate as much as possible and strategize avenues to grow his platform in 2022. Enter Kevin Timmer.
With a deep passion for music, Kevin Timmer began his journey at quite a young age. He had juggled multiple ambitions before finally being able to focus on fortifying his music career, and he had to raise himself working multiple jobs. Looking back, he says that while it was tough, his experiences have helped shape his career as an artist and prominent DJ within the Amsterdam nightlife scene.

He began performing for middle school events and eventually developed himself to be invited to host corporate events. Michael always wanted to become a professional musician, so he worked hard to become one by taking on any DJing event that he was invited to. Timmer carries the vision of dedication and hard work in his business model. The urban streets of Amsterdam helped mould him into a renowned talent, using his music and platform to share his story and encourage others. He says that it was in the streets that he came to learn more about prominent EDM music, and developed a deep interest in fusing different sounds together and forging his own mashups. Through constant training, he became better, and people started to take note of him.
Musicians like Kevin Timmer are so much more than just producers and performers. He exemplifies leadership and influence, taking total control over his craft to ensure his song campaigns perform optimally. On a creative note, Kevin Timmer has an intrinsic ability to bring people together; he intentionally keeps authentic themes in his music–radiating a soundtrack people from all walks of life can connect to.
