In a recent statement, Tony DeYoung, the outspoken rapper and entrepreneur, sent a clear message to DJ Silk and the rest of the industry: don’t underestimate him.
“DJ Silk, let me make one thing clear: with all the haters talking in Facebook groups, I’m not bothered,” Tony DeYoung declared. “You thought you ordered Tony DeYoung Entertainment to do something? Newsflash: Tony DeYoung does what he wants, when he wants. Your personal connections or status as a major producer don’t impress me.”
Tony DeYoung’s statement was a response to DJ Silk’s attempts to dictate his moves. However, Tony DeYoung made it clear that he won’t be intimidated or controlled.
“You’re worried about your ratings on Dr. Phil and OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network, but I’m the one dominating the airwaves,” Tony DeYoung continued. “While you’re sweating it out in the studio, I’ll be enjoying my 5-star hotel room, sipping on a beer, and snacking on hot dogs.”
The rapper also issued a warning to DJ Silk and the rest of the industry: he’s coming for them.
“And let this be a warning: the next time I step up to the microphone, someone’s getting dissed,” Tony DeYoung warned. “It might be Tekashi 6ix9ine, Dr. Phil, Joyner Lucas, or even you, DJ Silk. You can bet your bottom dollar it’s going to be a fiery response.”
