Recently Bravo’s reality T.V. stars Peter Thomas ( entrepreneur) and his beautiful wife Cynthia Bailey Thomas ( Supermodel) of the Real Housewives of Atlanta have blessed Atlanta with arguably the sexiest most exclusive lounge this side of the mason-dixon. Located in the Grant Park section of ATL, bar One provides a phenomenal atmosphere for professionals, celebs and us common folk to enjoy an amazing wines and spirits as well as a menu of exquisite tapas created by Chef Natasha Wong.
The caribbean based flavors Chef Wong has created were inspired by her Chinese and Trinidadian descend and Peter’s Jamaican descend. Dishes such as the fish fingers and shrimp fritters seem to be customer favorites already and her jerk chicken salads and jerk chicken wraps as well as the turkey sliders are to die for.
Toward the end of the previous season of RHOA, Peter was being heavily scrutinized due to the closure of his lounge at the time Uptown but as the gospel songs goes ” we fall down but we get up”. Not only did Peter get back up with the birth of bar One, he came up swinging. In a recent conversation Peter informed me ” I’ve failed 99 times so I can show you all the ways not to fail”. Practice what you preach would be a understatement because I truly believe whatever stopped Uptown’s success will not impose on the growth and success of bar One.
I suggest to all who live in Atlanta or plan on visiting the city to treat yourself to a wonderful night at bar One. It’s a great place to host business events, networking mixers or somewhere to take your husband or wife on that night out away from the kids. Every Wednesday night DJ Eldorado is on the 1’s and 2’s and every Friday and Saturday DJ Eclass and DJ Bad provide the hottest sounds in the city. Every Sunday Cynthia Bailey Thomas is the host of the evening and at 9 p.m. the newest episode of RHOA airs live getting fans of the show a chance to view it with their favorite housewife.
