Things just keep getting worse for former partners & friends of Jay-Z. Up above, Damon Dash talks to Sway on his Shade 45 morning show about the $3 million dollars he owes the IRS:
“They’re auditing me. When you’re a business man, you have a lot of businesses, a lot of times they think you’re laundering money or you’re pretending you’re writing things off that you don’t,” he continued. “I’m a true businessman. As you know, I believe in my independence, I have no partners, so every dollar I make goes right back into every business I have.”
In related news, former Roc-A-Fella artist, Beanie Sigel, is also facing some tax issues of his own. According to the Philly Inquirer, Beanie Sigel plead guilty today in U.S. District Court to tax evasion for failing to file taxes from 2003 through 2005 on $348,000 for $1 million of taxable income. Beanie Sigel could face up to 3 years in jail.
