One day before the NBA trade deadline is reached former head coach Mike D’Antoni has resigns as the Knicks head man. D’Antoni was in the last year of his contract, making $6 million this season and it was made clear by the brass of the Knicks that there would be no extension. The Knicks are 6 games behind .500 and currently in the mist of a 6 game losing streak. Mike Wooden ( former Atlanta Hawks head coach) will be the interim coach for the reminding 25 games  but if you ask me don’t be surprised if the Knicks begin to look at bringing in former Knick and legendary coach Phil Jackson to lead Melo and Lin to the promise land next season.
