Orlando Woolridge Passes Away after Struggling with Heart Condition

Orlando Woolridge passed away at the age of 52 on Thursday in Mansfield, La. According to the Shreveport Times in Louisiana, Desoto Parish Chief Deputy Coroner Billy Locke told the newspaper that Orlando Woolridge had been under hospice care for a chronic heart condition at his parents’ home in Mansfield, La. Orlando Woolridge, 6-foot-9 and 215 lbs., was a standout forward at the University of Notre Dame Fighting Irish and was the star of the Chicago Bulls from 1981 to 1987.
