HHS1987 was on the scene to check out the project and speak with Rick Ross for an exclusive interview.
Rick Ross spoke with HHS1987 about his upcoming project “Hood Billionaire”. He detailed the title’s true meaning for our viewers. Ross gave us some insight on how a Hood Billionaire should be defined by what they do for the hood, not just those who are rich or wealthy. Surprisingly, Ross took two inner city youth on a ride with him for a once in a lifetime experience around the ATL streets. Ross explained to us that spending a few minutes with those who admire what you do is way more important than flashing or spending money. Rozay detailed kids in the hood seeing the big baller in the neighborhood with the fly ride as a Hood Billionaire as another reason to give the kids a ride with himself.
Rick Ross also spoke on his decision to release two albums in the same year, which a few hip hop legends such as 2pac and etc have managed to pull off. Having released “Mastermind” earlier in the year, Rick Ross spoke on wanting to deliver something new, something fresh that was directly for the hood and those who get it from the mud. He talked about giving the people what they want. If they wanted more music from Rozay then he decided to feed the people with another album. Ross also explained the decision process behind why he collaborated with the artists he did on “Hood Billionaire”. Ross spoke on the RossFit movement and why fitness and how good health has become a top priority in his life.
Before concluding the interview, Rick Ross spoke on Meek Mill and what’s coming up next for MMG. He confirmed that Meek Mill will drop his sophomore album when he is released from jail shortly. Rick Ross exclusively told HHS1987 that “Self Made Volume 4” will be released in early 2015. This comes after a year plus since the last “Self Made 3” project was released. Ross talked about his endorsement deals, being offered a million dollar for a cigarette company but declining it because he doesn’t smoke. He made up for that but signing with mCig, an electronic cigarette company. Hip Hop’s biggest boss also confirmed that he will be in an upcoming film and more.
The interview was conducted by HHS1987’s Eldorado. The interview was shot by HHS1987’s BrianDaDirector. Big Ups to Kadife, Def Jam, Rick Ross and Sav.
