The Seattle Seahawks have won Super Bowl 48 in what was a one sided ball game (43-8). The Seahawks dominated the Denver Broncos from start to finish and it wasn’t even close. Much should be said about the play of Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson who finished with 2 touchdown passes and the poise he played with but the tone was set by the Legion of Boom and the Seahawks defensive line.

Peyton Manning never looked settled playing from behind all game despite receiving the ball first. Seahawks safeties Earl Thomas and Kam Chancellor led that hard hitting defense and a few big plays from Super Bowl MVP Malcolm Smith including a 69 yard pick six was too much for the Denver Broncos. The Seahawks defense with Cliff Avril and Chris Clemons in many ways may have played the best defensive game ever in Super Bowl history. The Broncos entered the game as the number one offense and scored 8 points, 8 points. So amazing I had to say it twice.

Seattle playmaker Percy Harvin also had a big game in was pretty much was the most playing time he had seen all season. Harvin had an 87 yard kickoff return to start the second half and over 125 all purpose yards. Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll also made history becoming the third coach ever to win a NCAA championship and NFL championship.

Congratulations to the Seattle Seahawks and the 12th Man.
