April 13, 2014 0

After losing the way he did the first time Pacquiao and Bradley met in the ring, Pac-Man entered tonight’s match with a different approach and boy did it pay off. Bradley defeated Pacquiao in a very controversial fashion the first go round so Manny came out ready tonight.

Pacquiao (56-5-2) and Bradley (31-1) met for the second time in as many years and they gave boxing fans almost everything they were looking for. Pac-Man controlled the fight from the beginning until the end keeping Bradley on his heels and landing over 100 punches to Bradley’s head leading to a unanimous decision and a victory for Pacquiao. Judges Craig Metcalfe and Michael Pernick scored the rematch 116-112, Glenn Trowbridge scored the fight 118-110 and the AP scored the fight 116-112 all in favor of Pacquiao.

After the fight Bradley mentioned having to switch his style after injuring his calf in the first round but he also stated that Manny won the fight and that he had no excuses. With Pac-Man’s win tonight many boxing fans are left to ask is a Mayweather-Pacquiao fight next. Stay tuned to HHS1987 for more sports information.
