After letting their in house competitor MTV create MTV Jams years ago, and watching Revolt TV come on the scene, BET has finally decided to step their game up. Apparently BET Jams has replaced MTV Jams according to MTV Jams instagram post last night. Both MTV and BET are owned by Viacom so don’t expect any staff changes, programming changes, and so forth.
Today BET announced a new channel titled BET Jams will emerge soon. BET’s chairman and chief executive officer, Debra Lee announced the news from her personal Twitter account.
