Live from South Philly, 19th and Carpenter street to be exact, HHS1987 sits down with NBA athlete Dion Waiters. Dion talks to us about starting off his year with the Cavs then being traded to the Thunder. He talks about the few things he learned from Lebron & Kyrie to KD & Westbrook. Dion weighs in the biggest misconceptions about himself, which they say is he is limited to being a “catch and shoot” player.
For those inspiring to be the next Dion Waiters or Meek Mill out of Philly, Dion gives his advice. He tells the youth to make sure they have the right people around them, no matter if you want to be an athlete or rapper. Dion also talks about his annual Suit & Tie event in the city. He talks about the event being bigger and better year after year.
