Sad news for Iggy Azalea fans, the rapper has cancelled her upcoming tour. Ticketmaster emailed fans who purchased tickets saying “The Iggy Azalea Great Escape Tour scheduled for this fall has been canceled and refunds are available at point of purchase. There will be a new tour planned around Iggy’s new record to be released in 2016 and we apologize for any inconvenience.” Tinashe and Nick Jonas were supposed to join Iggy on the road but pulled out due to her postponing the tour back in March because of “production delays.”

Iggy took to Twitter to speak on the cancellation saying.

May she stay cancelled indefinitely. lol

I abhor this cultural-appropriating, issue-avoiding, literally-fake-ass, convenient-career Aussie bitch and her novelty success. She’s clueless about the culture she emulates, she’s no female Eminem, and the only Iggy worth a damn in life is Iggy Pop.

I hate the trend she’s fostering. I have no problem with white people in hip-hop, as long as they’re genuine and authentic artists who respect the culture they’re embracing and sensitive to the issues that black Americans face.

As long as they aren’t just a bunch of white girls from affluent neighborhoods overseas (Iggy Azalea, Jessie J, Charli XCX, Rita Ora, etc.), embracing the never-ending trend of borrowing black with all the ready convenience of being white.

Hell, the trend’s so regulated now, that even other non-black people are doing it. Honey Cocaine, some Cambodian chick from weak-ass Canada, dropping “nigga” like she’s been somewhere. Or the Chinese-Korean-American chick “Awkwafina” who thinks she’s somehow merited a place among the “niggas” she on Twitter apparently thinks she’s one among.

This shit’s nauseating as fuck, and it’s been the same ol’ song in popular American media for centuries. Appropriation and utter , from people who think that time’s somehow healed issues. They want to borrow black culture, but learn nothing about it.

And what’s worse is, it’s black producers like T.I. and Tyga are producing these folks, all for a bit of ready cash. It’s like the biggest trend among rap figures now to go find you some novelty-act white person from some weak-ass region of the world and have them front as the new black-styled white artist who don’t even take their craft seriously.

Yeah, let’s put out Justin Bieber and Iggy Azalea’s incredibly-white asses out there and market him to the white kids and other gullible non-black kids who think black heritage has become some sort of a diverse democracy to which every has rights to “nigga” now.

Sure, I mean, it ought to be a multi-million-dollar global phenomenon, selling out your heritage already slapped in the face for America’s next great white hope in black hip-hop. And people wonder why I stopped listening to hip-hop a long time ago–just like jazz, original soul, and true R&B before it, hip-hop is dead.
