Recently interviewed by Rolling Stone, Lil Wayne has finally opened up about the $51 million lawsuit against Birdman and his desire to leave his long-time label, Cash Money Records. In the interview, he did not go into too much detail about the the legal side of things, saying the situation is quite overwhelming; however, he did not fail to mention that he and Birdman are no long on speaking terms:
I have no words. I’m super-numb to it, to tell you the truth… I’m human. But it’s nothing that a good blunt can’t cure.

Cake baked, icing on top, name on top, candles lit. I would have released it yesterday if I could. But it’s a dead subject right now. It’s a jewel in the safe. It’s that stash-house money.
On the bright side, Tunechi’s upcoming project, The Free Weezy Album will be dropping in March.
I guarantee it’s going to be something dope. If you don’t want a musician being creative, don’t get The Free Weezy Album.
On to other things, Weezy talked about Rae Sremmurd and Migos being his favorite new acts, but admits beginning out of touch with today’s youth. He even mentions having to call his daughter Reginae to find out what ‘fleek’ meant.
