While music itself is certainly an art form (and one of the greatest, depending on who you ask), its message can become that much more powerful with an accompanying visual. Driving that point home is the Miami by way of Queens emcee, Lex One, and his release of “I’m Sorry”—an honest and gripping single about heartbreak, which is complemented by stunning artwork from Duane Planes.

You may know renowned artist Duane Planes from his incredible depictions of Pusha T, Smoke DZA, Young Thug, and many others over the years. And he, Lex, and NYC art hub FAMO joined forces to release a limited-edition print of the amazing artwork. So as you listen to the stirring track produced by Yasha Malekzad, you can purchase a T-shirt and/or a high-quality 11×14 print of Planes’ work. Both are limited to 50 copies, though, so those of you diggin’ this better move quickly and head over to Lex’s website to cop (http://lexone.uno).

If this is your first time hearing Lex’s material, be sure to peep his LP, Gold Plaque, which was released on January 25th of this year. In addition to “I’m Sorry,” the LP features a number of other highlights, including “Ima Beast” (feat. PR$FIT), as well as, “They Know” (feat. Lucian White).

“I’m Sorry” is now available for stream, while Gold Plaque is available for purchase through iTunes and all major digital outlets.
