The Philadelphia Phillies are looking to return to championship form and they took a huge step in that process tonight! On Thursday afternoon, the Philadelphia Phillies have agreed to a 13 year $330 million dollar deal with outfielder/ baseball superstar Bryce Harper.

The Phillies and Bryce Harper have been talking and working out the details of the contract for the past few weeks but an agreement was reached on Thursday. Harper is 26 years old and is the youngest superstar the Phillies have signed in free agency. The former Washington Nationals star will now move into the next chapter of his career but he will see his former team in Washington in April 2nd.
