Chris Brown and New Era have formed an official partnership where CB has designed a series of six limited edition caps that will retail for $35 to $40 starting on August 14th. Each model will be limited to roughly 5,000 caps and Brown will receive a royalty payment for each cap sold. Brown has designed ten caps in total but six will go to New Era while Brown will maintain the rights for the other four. This is the second branding partnership run that New Era has done with a celebrity. Spike Lee was the other as his caps ran for $60.
Brown continues to establish himself as a major brand name from his Interscope label, Chris Brown Entertainment to his recently launched marketing campaign with Wrigley’s Doublemint Gum to his rising film career.
