When Ray J’s sex tape with Kim Kardashian first dropped, it lit the porn industry on fire. Even now you can still see posters for it in the windows of any sex shop in New York City. With so much attention being paid to his burgeoning porn career, according to Ray J, he was getting a lot of offers to do other things in the sex business. He says,
“I just got all these offers about directing and having my own toys, and being a spokesperson…. like 7 million dollars worth of deals. I just turned them down. It’s whatever. I was hanging out, taking some meetings with some real major money dudes, that was gonna show me the way and take me on private jets and show me the world…. I think I made a good decision though. and maybe that’s why god blessed me with ‘Sexy Can I’ to be so successful, and to just say, ‘Here Ray, you made the right decision, do your thing that way, shake all that other sh*t.’”
