One thing is for certain – someone has Drake’s album. If my memory is correct, this is the exact same manner Tha Carter III leaked, song by song by song. With this in mind, we’ll probably see an album leak in a few days. Damn shame for Drizzy, but it’s the way of the industry and no one is immune. Not even the man who has been dubbed as Hip-Hop’s heir apparent.

For those who don’t like to torture themselves like me – i.e. refusing to listen to any leaks – we find ourselves in the same position as we did a few days ago. Another day means more leaks and this time it’s “Fireworks” with Alicia Keys and “Light Up” with Jay-Z. Both tracks I heard are solid, but it’s the verse from Jay-Z that I’m hearing is amazing.
I’ll continue to drive myself crazy until the entire album drops, but these are for you. It’s funny though. Before this sudden splurge of leaks, there was doubt creeping around about
Thank Me Later not living up to its billing. Now, everyone’s right back on the good foot. What a difference some leaks make.

I feel ike leaked songs only help the artist whether its intentional or not. For example, if the internet response was that every song we’ve heard so far is wack, then maybe he can change his tracklist or push his album back. But with the general response now that all of the leaked tracks are classic Drake singles, then it only affect his sales. But you have to remember that not everyone downloads, so he will still sell a couple hundred thousand in his first week. If anything the album should be pushed up sooner to beat it from being leaked. I say give it by the weekend or next week and the entire album would be leaked.

I rather have my album leaked and for this to be a buzz, then for it to drop and it not be a topic of discussion. Drake has one of those good problems right now.
