Fresh off the release of his highly successful single “Headlines,” Toronto based rapper Drake is preparing to release his sophomore album Take Care.
The initial single for the project is a top rated song on iTunes Main Music chart, selling 139,274 copies in the first few days of its release.
The song is also currently the #1 added song on urban radio in the United States, with 6.1 million radio impressions.

Take Care is the follow up project to his commercial debut, Thank Me Later, which opened at #1 on the Top 200, sold nearly 450,000 copies in its first week and went on to achieve platinum sales with over 1.5 million sold to date.
Take Care is produced by Noah “40” Shebib and features contributions from Alicia Keys, Swizz Beats and Drake’s mentor and label mate, Lil Wayne.
The Young Money/Cash Money/Universal Republic Grammy nominated recording artist expects to release his upcoming album on October 24th.
