The world’s best basketball video game just keeps getting better. If NBA 2K11 took Virtual basketball to new heights with one legend, how does 3 sound?
2K Sports has announced that the cover art of this year’s NBA 2K12 won’t only feature Michael Jordan but Hall of Famers and 1980’s greats Larry Bird and Magic Johnson will be shown separately on three distinct covers.
2K Sports has inked MJ to a multi-year partnership but they wanted to give fans more then just a repeat. The three covers will only be available in the U.S. and non U.S. retailers will only receive the Jordan cover.
Although 2k sports wasn’t willing to release any secrets and additions to the 2K12 edition I’m quite sure we are in for a treat. NBA 2K12 is set to be released for all gaming systems on October 4,2011. I wonder if the NBA lockout is still in effect if there will be a overseas mode!
