After trying to cut out Kindergarten programs in Philly, the boss is out of office. A lot of citizens in Philly are somewhere cheering right now.
The Daily News reports that now-former School District of Philadelphia superintendent Arlene Ackerman‘s buyout package is worth $905,000. The DN also points out, “The buyout she received today is much higher than the $180,000 that former Philadelphia schools CEO Paul Vallas got when he left in 2007.”
