The man who produced Meek Mill’s first national hit is the latest artist to sign to Jay-Z’s management company.
Chester, Pennsylvania-based producer Jahlil Beats announced this morning, via Twitter, that he has signed to Roc Nation. Jahlil Beats is known for producing most of Meek Mill’s songs on his Flamers mix tapes, as well as his most popular record “Ima Boss” ft. Rick Ross. Jahlil has produced for Tyga, Chris Brown, Lil Wayne, Soulja Boy, Red Cafe, and plenty of others.
Jahlil Beats will joins deejays Mick Boogie and D-Nice, as well as J. Cole and a few others. Announcing the signing on Twitter, Jahlil thanked Roc execs Jay, Ty Ty and Emory. Moments later, he thanked Meek Mill who first met Jahlil through Myspace and legendary Philadelphia music executive Charlie Mack.
