Wale X Heineken #RedStarAccess held their event here at the TLA in Philly. While everyone in the crowd was waiting for Wale to bring out Meek Mill, the DC rapper mention Meek had a show in NY that night. But nonetheless, Young Chris came out to perform “No Better Love” and “Philly Shit” for the hometown crowd. It was a great show, Wale is more for the ladies in concert than anything. That shows in the music he selects to play at his concerts as well. Although I caught a few male fans clapping to “Pretty Girls”. Oh wait did I mention Heineken event comes with FREE HEINEKEN?, yeah everyone was drunk by the way.
While performing Wale cut the music short to spot out one of the camera girls texting while in the media pit between the stage and the crowd. Wale wasn’t pleased with my friend and wanted to get her out of there asap for the disrespect. Towards the end of his set Wale jumped in the crowd where he was touched by a handful of female fans. Upset that Wale couldn’t touch the females back inappropriately like Big Sean, Wale jumped back on stage.
Although I know she (Rosa Acosta) was in the building, I never seen the two (Rosa & Wale) interact. After the show Wale & Rosa exchanged a few words via twitter.
