Louis Vuitton sneakers have always been an interesting phenomenon. For most, they’re either hit or miss and at times seem to appeal to a specific demographic. That being neither good or bad, just an observation made by many who follow their wide-ranging footwear collections. After a few changes within the brand, most notably Kim Jones leading the sneaker development, the differences would be easily recognizable from past silhouettes. A strong piece of evidence is the Fall/Winter 2012 “Dream On” sneaker.
The Dream On shoe is successfully scaled down while maintaining the level of bravado a Louis Vuitton sneaker should. Seen in a low-cut frame, the shoe features premium burgundy leather throughout the upper complemented smooth calf suede accenting. Subtle perforated branding on the side panel coupled a clean gum midsole completes the look of this fresh retro-styled Fall sneaker. Priced at $650 USD, pick up the LV Dream On sneaker here.
