A P E X is the new project from Star Enterprises’ Chance Davis. Chance is definitely showing growth on this project. The fact he is only 18 just shows he is only going to get better.
“Nostalgia” is a smooth intro track where Chance tells his story, and where he plans on taking his music career. “BlkGld” sounds like a record Ross would use, and he definitely held his team down on the track. “Rolling Stone” shows you the versatility Chance has on what I feel was a Kid Cudi like record. CTFU at the hook on “Richard/DE$POT” he all up on my Richard. Chance recruits Star Enterprises’ Flash Amorosos for “His Name”. “Aristocrat PLYR” is definitely a smooth record, but Chance flaunts his flow, and even harmonizes on the track. The track “Tastefully Done” features Star Enterprises’ Clout, and the track delivers a slow yet smooth record for the ladies. “Understand” is one of my favorite cuts from the record because its an uptempo banger. “$u$hi Party” features Mashkuwr Muhammad and its another uptempo track on the album. Chance records “Keep It G” with Bella Aces to give the ladies their own special track on his album, the hook could of been better but its still a good track. With a clip from GoodFellas at the beginning, the track features Al 1thing x Clout. To conclude the album Chance Davis spits his hardest bars on “No Seats”, which I think should of been his intro because it went the hardest and grabbed my attention from start to finish. This track really shows his rhyming skills.
