Last night at the 40/40 nightclub in Manhattan, New York, Hip-Hop and NBA All-Stars gathered together for the official launch party of NBA 2K13. The video game will be in-stores October 2nd, and the soundtrack was executive produced by Jay-Z.
In the event was Jay-Z, Nas, Meek Mill, Jahlil Beats, Cassidy, Black Deniro, Mike Knox, Jersey Shore’s Ronnie, Vinny, and Sammy, Joe Budden, Bow Wow, Talib Kweli, Bridget Kelly, Tracy Morgan, Boi-1da, Fred The Godson, Ransom, Tyson Beckford, DJ Clue, DJ Vlad, Elliott Wilson and many others. As far as NBA players there was Derrick Rose, Kevin Durant, Tyreke Evens, Dion Waiters, Kris Humphries, Iman Shumpert, Brooke Lopez and more.
Meek Mill was the only performer for the launch party, showing off tracks from his two Dreamchasers mixtape collection and even some off his up coming album. Meek Mill also gave everyone in his private lounge at the venue a listen to his upcoming Dreams & Nightmares debut album (Oct. 30). Meek Mill will also be in NBA 2K13.
By the way, when I played NBA 2K13 against Rick Dange, I won. The gameplay felt the same, scoring was not a problem, but maybe thats because I played with the Lakers. I definitely would purchase this game on October 2nd if I were you.
