Major League Baseball Draft puts pressure on draft order and prospects
By: @EvataTigerRawr
Out of all the drafts that occur during the year, the Major League Baseball Draft is also known as the MLB First-Year Player Draft the least talked about. Most don’t realize that those picked in the draft don’t go straight to the majors all the time. They might as well call it the Minor League Baseball Draft, but they don’t. Each minor team is affiliated with a major team hoping to round up the guys that are going to storm the majors with their talent. The amount of work it takes to put on this draft goes unnoticed, just like the Major League Baseball Draft prospects. People should know that baseball players are the highest paid athletes in the business and they work hard to be recognized!
The 2012 MLB Draft is scheduled for June 4 to June 6 on the Major League Baseball Network. If you don’t have the MLB Network like me, then you can follow it live online at MLB.com.
