I was uncertain how the Eagles and wide receiver Desean Jackson would co-exsist this season after a rocky season last year because of contract issues and now that issue can be tossed out the nest. The Philadelphia Eagles and former California Golden Bears WR have agreed to a 5 year/$51 Million deal.
Desean is now the fifth highest paid wideout in the NFL and is expected to return to his game breaking ways as the 2012 season gets under way. There are many rumors floating around the league as to who could become the third receiver next to Jackson and wideout Jeremy Maclin. Plaxico Burress is looked at being a lead candidate. I hope this deal pays off in bring a parade to Broad Street.
