Lamar Odom and Khloe just may be reunited after all. The Dallas Mavericks and the Los Angeles Clippers are currently engaged in a trade discussion that would send New York City native Lamar Odom back to the team he was drafted by.
Odom was traded to the Mavs last season after the Los Angeles Lakers proposed trade with the Houston Rockets and New Orleans Hornets was canceled by David Stern. Odom was extremely hurt by the Lakers motion to trading him and demanded to be traded which he was to Dallas where he was dismissed from the team after a heated argument with Mavs owner Mark Cuban.
Odom is pleased with the possibility of returning to L.A. but realistically the only way it will happen is if the Mavs or Clippers can get a third team involved. Clippers guard Mo Williams looks to be trade bait to bring Odom back. Williams has stated he will pick up his 2012-13 $8.5 million player opt to stay with the Clippers although the Clippers have invested money and minutes to young gun Eric Bledsoe and All-Star Chris Paul. All three are points guards. With tomorrow being draft night anything is possible.
