I’ll be the first to admit this has not been Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Michael Vick‘s best season this year but for the life of me I can’t believe how Vick is being used as the scapegoat for all that is wrong with the Philadelphia Eagles.
The Philadelphia Eagles have been horrible all season long. The defense can’t stop a nose bleed, the special teams has been bad and the offensive line can’t protect whoever is in the pocket but Michael Vick has been the blame for everything unfairly.
In the second quarter of a 38-23 loss to the Dallas Cowboys, Vick suffered a eye injury and concussion which seemed to spark the Nick Foles era has Vick was taking to the locker room and Eagles fans cheered as Vick exited and Foles entered the game. The game was 7-7 when Vick entered the locker room and after a few turnovers from the rookie quarterback Foles a 17-10 lead for the Eagles quickly turned the game into a immediate blowout favoring Dallas.
With Vick’s status uncertain for Sunday’s game against Washington it appears Eagles fans are ready for the Foles Era and ready to part ways with the Vick Experience. Andy Reid still seemed to be on the hot seat and only he knows what has happen to the Eagles mojo. If Vick is healthy I would keep him as the starter but Reid may now feel different.
Do you believe the Vick experience is over in Philly? Who is the blame for the Eagles 3-6 record?
