Tonight the Dallas Mavericks kick off the season in Hollywood as they face the new look Los Angeles Lakers.
There has been a large amount of hype surrounding the Lakers after signing future Hall of Famers Dwight Howard and Steve Nash so now its time to show and prove.
The Mavericks have also made a few adjustments in their locker room. The additions of Chris Kamen and O.J. Mayo should get the Mavs fresh life on the floor and maybe help them as they look to compete for a NBA championship.
Kobe Bryant has been bothered by a foot injury and is listed as a game time decision but I would be very surprised if Kobe misses tonight’s game. Although I do believe it will take the Lakers until after the All-star break to reach their peak but the Mavericks are no match in tonight’s game. Once Dwight gets he first home game as a Laker under his belt and he sees how things work in LA, lookout NBA. Tonight will be a great preview of that.
