Ohio State Football: Urban Meyer Taking Head Coaching Role Seriously as he Punishes Seniors

Urban Meyer is taking the reins of the Ohio State Football program. Already, after being introduced as the new head coach Urban Meyer in November, Meyer isn’t going to “play nice.” Two of his Ohio State Football players, tight end Jake Stoneburner and offensive tackle Jack Mewhort have been stripped of their scholarships. Both players are seniors and do have the opportunities to regain their scholarships after the summer. Urban Meyer announced Friday their scholarships were taken away due to an incident occurring on June 2. Jake Stoneburner and Jack Mewhort are in some trouble with the program and are hindering their ability to train with the team over this incident that brings more negative attention to Ohio State Football.
