We kickoff week 3 of the NFL 2012 season in North Carolina as Eli Manning and the defending Super Bowl Champs face off against Cam Newton and the Carolina Panthers.
Both the Giants and Panthers are coming off week 2 victories and are looking to do the same in week 3 but I believe injuries will decide tonight’s outcome. The G-Men are lumping into the game with both Hakeem Nicks and Ahmad Bradshaw listed as out of the contest. Although Eli is coming off his best game ever as far as yards go with 510 ,a hurt Nicks leaves Cruz to surely be double teamed all night. Running backs Andre Brown and rookie David Wilson will share Bradshaw’s workload.
Cam and his troops handed the New Orleans Saints there second loss of the young season and are looking to make a strong statement in the NFC by handling the champs. Although I do put a large deal of stock in the Giants defensive front four Cam Newton is no little QB and could have a big game. A early dose of ground and pound will open up passing lanes for Cam late and the Panthers march on to 2-1 as they defeat the New York Giants 24-16.
