X games living legend and the favorite to win the skateboard Big Air event Bob Burnquist was rushed to near by California Medical Center Tuesday after crashing and injuring his back during practice for the X games in Los Angeles this week.
The 35 year old Brazilian skateboard guru has competed in every X games event since 1995 and has earned 20 X Game medals along the way.
Burnquist’s X-rays were all negative for any broken bones or head or spinal injuries but his stock to win the event has dropped since his crash. Must X games fans are expected the biggest event yet this week with over five athletes including 12 year old Tom Schaar participating in there years games.
