Here is Ley Joans single “I Wanna Dance” off her debut EP.
Philadelphia native Ley Joans has been performing since the early age of 5. Her distinctive sound is a compilation of Pop/R&B and Hip-hop music. Her passion for music began in church; where she was the lead soloist in the church choir. Throughout the years Joans continued performing and singing in church, school, and local talent competitions. She has won accolades in many talent and musical competitions, including the “Miss Black Penn State University Pageant” and Sean “P. Diddy” Combs Making the Band seasons 3. Joans also gained recognition for her participation in “Oprah Winfrey’s Talent Search 2004”. Joans writes and arranges many of her own songs. Some of her musical inspiration comes from artist such as Whitney Houston, Lauryn Hill, Janet Jackson and Mary J. Blige just to name a few. Joans recently released her debut EP on iTunes titled “I Wanna Dance.” Joans executive produced, arranged and co-wrote all the records on the album. Joans is currently working to arrange a U.S. college tour to promote her EP. Be on the lookout for Ley Joans, she might be coming to a school near you.
