I know a lot of you are thinking wait did I miss this years Soul Train Awards, the answer is no. The 2013 Soul Train Awards (2012 Soul Train Awards Red Carpet Recap) don’t air until December 1st on Centric, however a few of this years winners have already been announced via the official press releases from BET. Singer/Song Writer Miguel (THROWBACK: Miguel Performs Live at Powerhouse 2012) walked away with the award for Best Male R&B/Soul Artist, while Robin Thicke, Pharrell & T.I. received the award for Song of the Year for “Blurred Lines”. TDE‘s front-man Kendrick Lamar (Kendrick Lamar Talks Yeezus Tour Experience W/ Revolt TV) snagged up award for Best Album for or his platinum selling good kid, m.A.A.d city and Tamar Braxton was awarded for Best Female R&B/Soul Artist.
